How we calculate TDH: Total Dynamic Head is the sum of Vertical Lift + Friction Loss. Friction loss is estimated based on pipe diameter and fitting count.

• Pipe Friction: Estimated based on standard PVC friction tables per 10ft of pipe.
• Fitting Loss: Each 90° elbow adds equivalent pipe friction, typically 2.5ft to 4ft depending on diameter.
• GPH Estimate: A baseline sizing estimation to ensure your pump can manage the inflow rates common in residential sump pits.
